Whether you’re already an avian enthusiast or want to know more about our feathered friends, everyone will have something to squawk about at this month’s Nerd Nite!
Sarah Rogers: Finding Your ‘Something to Look At’
Sarah will talk about why she watches birds, where the desire to fill out the bird-dex has taken her around the world, how looking at birds has shaped her life and opened her eyes, and why you should find your “Something To Look At,” too. You’ll also learn the basics of bird watching and how you can get started here in Seattle.
Sarah Rogers is trained as a geologist and works as a science and environmental educator. When she’s not doing bird counts or plotting her Big Year, she just loves being outside, walking around, looking at birds, and bouldering.
