Who doesn’t love a good conspiracy theory? Despite the lack of
Photoshop back in the 60’s, people still believe the Apollo moon
landings never happened. From old-school photo tricks to
understanding the physics in a vacuum, UW graduate student Kristina
Wang will use the power of science to disprove the most popular
claims. Kristina is a former “Fungineer” and speaker for Ignite
Boulder, and has a passion for human spaceflight and DIY
Dr. Improv: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love To Bomb
Kyle O’Neill
YES! This largely improvised and audience-involved presentation
will walk you through the history and basics of improv theater and
maybe teach you a thing or two about yourself. Through several
audience games and personal observations, Kyle will show you that
success comes easy through the acceptance of failure. So come and
laugh and learn to bomb! Kyle has performed improv comedy for
five years in Rochester, NY, founded BrainWreck Improv, and taught
improv workshops and given multiple talks on the subject since.
He also has a Master’s degree in Innovation Management from the
Rochester Institute of Technology that he thinks is pretty cool.
